Tasty Dish Quinoa with Kale, Beans & Garlic

Ingredients to use
You will require 1/2 cup of cooked quinoa. To make 2 servings, you need 1/2 cup of toasted quinoa as well as 1 cup of water. 2 tablespoons of EVOO is also needed plus 1/2 cup of chopped yellow onion. The cook is also required to have 1 heaping tablespoon of minced garlic and 3/4 cup of the pinto beans. 5 leaves of kale, well washed and torn into quite large pieces are also needed. Lastly, you will need to have a few splashes of the Shoyu sauce as well as a pinch of both salt and pepper.
Directions for cooking
Start by dumping the quinoa in the saucepan and put heat on. Toast your grains for some minutes while frequently tossing the quinoa so that it does not burn. While doing this, start sautéing the oil, garlic and onion in a large skillet. Ensure that the heat is medium. Add salt to taste to the onion mixture and cook it for about five minutes while stirring regularly. Stirring regularly prevents the garlic from burning.
When grains of quinoa starts to toast, add water and turn on high heat. Once the quinoa boils, cover it and turn to low heat and cook for about ten minutes. Add the beans to the garlic and onion and cook for around 5 minutes. Add the washed kale pieces as well as a few splashes of the Shoyu. Remember to add a pinch of pepper. Turn heat to medium and cover and let steam for seven minutes. Now place a scoop of quinoa in bowls and top with beans and kale. Serve while hot.
